GlobeNow.tvFree YouTube live TV: where the channels actually play
GlobeNow.tv checks 647 official YouTube live TV channels from 64 countries every day. At the latest check (31 Oct 2026), 501 of them (77%) had no country restriction, 71 were blocked in at least one country, 16 played only in a short list of countries, and 59 could not be checked.
The short version: most broadcasters that run a 24/7 YouTube stream let anyone watch it. News channels are the most open. Kids' cartoons and entertainment, where the rights are sold country by country, are the most often restricted.

How the check works
For every channel, GlobeNow.tv looks up the video that is live right now and reads the country restriction YouTube publishes for it. No restriction means the broadcaster lets it play in every country where YouTube works. The check runs once a day, so a channel that changes its live video or its settings may show yesterday's status until the next run.
This is a directory of free, official YouTube streams, mostly news. It does not include paid services, and it is not a test of your own connection: a school or office network, or a country that blocks YouTube, can still stop a "worldwide" stream.

Which countries block the most channels?
United Kingdom and India are the countries most often listed as blocked: 19 and 18 channels respectively. The block is set by the broadcaster on YouTube, usually for rights reasons, not by the country's government.
Where does this data come from?
Once a day GlobeNow.tv asks the YouTube Data API for each channel's current live video and reads its regionRestriction field, which lists the countries where the video is blocked or allowed. A channel with no restriction plays everywhere YouTube is available.
Does "plays worldwide" mean it works in every country?
It means the broadcaster set no country restriction on that live video. YouTube itself is unavailable in a few countries, some networks block YouTube, and a broadcaster can change the setting at any time, so a check from today can be out of date tomorrow.
Can I use or download this data?
Yes. The worldwide list is a free CSV download, updated daily, and each country page shows the status of every channel. Please credit GlobeNow.tv and link back if you publish the numbers.
